About Our Program
At Ballroom Empire, kids are trained in two different styles:
Latin: Cha-Cha, Samba, Rumba, Pasodoble, and Jive.
Standard: Waltz, Tango, Viennese Waltz, Foxtrot, and Quickstep.
Kids learn ballroom dancing while having fun! All of our teachers are well trained and accomplished dancers who know the trade like the back of their hand. Here, your child can meet new friends, learn how to set goals and achieve them, gain communication skills and discipline.
Class Overview
Learn Technique

This class is designed to introduce the student to dance, movement, and musicality. Kids learn through a game format the basic fundamental dances: Cha-Cha, Rumba, Waltz, and Quickstep. They learn how to feel the rhythm, count to music, basic coordination skill, and discipline.

After kids move on from the beginner stage, it’s time to build on to their technical skills. Kids are now treated as full-time dancers and more is asked of them. In this stage, kids learn more dances: Samba, Jive, Tango, and Foxtrot.

This class is designed for kids who have moved past the intermediate stage and understand the principles and terminologies of Ballroom Dance. Here, kids are ready to take dance seriously, compete, and achieve the highest results. All five Latin dances are covered: Cha-Cha, Samba, Rumba, Pasodoble, Jive.

Excel In Dance

The body is the dancer’s main tool. This class is focused on developing flexibility, coordination, range of motion, and the components necessary for being a successful dancer. (Mandatory class for all dancers)

The goal of our program is to prepare dancers to the successful competitors. Here, dancers dance rounds to increase stamina, learn how competitions are run, and are taught tips and tricks to gain better results.

Ballroom dancing is a sport that requires a trained body. This fitness class is specifically designed for dancers to develop stamina, agility, and strength.
